Jiangsu Yangjie Runau Semiconductor Co.,Ltd. is a well-known power semiconductor manufacture in mainland China. The company produces power semiconductor devices such as power thyristors, rectifiers, IGBTs, and power semiconductor modules in IDM mode, which are mainly used in industrial control, motor drives, high-power power supplies, power transmission and distribution, rail transit, photovoltaics, automobiles fields. The company is one of the main power semiconductor device manufacturing bases in China.

In order to meet the growing market demand and solve customer application problems, Yangjie Runau Semiconductor decided to develop the thyristor square chip as soon as possible. The company’s R&D team used the long-term manufacturing experience accumulated in the power semiconductor industry and advanced power electronics knowledge, and made full use of existing corporate resources. After 9 months of unremitting efforts and assiduous research, the trial and mass production of square thyristor chips were finally completed. Some models have been handed over to customer for on-site use and verification which have been accepted and satisfied by customer.

The square thyristor chip of Yangjie Runau Semiconductor is completely independently developed by the company's technical team. The parameters and performance have reached the level of same product of the world's mainstream brands, and some key parameters have been optimized to be better than those world's brands.

At present, the square thyristor chip developed by Yangjie Runau Semiconductor has a size range of 250mil to 710mil, ITAV range of 30A to 200A, VRRM=1600V, with corner gate or central gate. In future, the company will continue to develop more thyristors and diode chips which suitable for more application scenarios, and customized requirements is also available.
